Knowledge brings freedom.

Luxera exists so that no child in Africa is held back by what they were never taught. Lux is how we do it: one quiet set of tools for every school, teacher, parent and child.

The story

Every child carries a future.

Too many of those futures wait. Behind a topic nobody explained. A fee that came at the wrong time. A teacher with forty children and one evening.

We don’t believe talent is rare. We believe access is.

So we build the tools that open the way, and then we get out of it.

Our mark

i.

Three figures, waiting in the dark.

Bright children in good schools, held back by gaps nobody could see.

ii.

A golden path rises.

Knowledge, given patiently, one small step at a time.

iii.

They reach the star.

Not because the path was easy. Because it was finally there.

Our mark is not decoration. It is the journey we are here to make ordinary.

A day with Lux

One day at a school
that is free.

St. Jude’s is a school like yours. Six moments from one ordinary Friday.

The tools stay quiet. The people are the story.

For the ones who carry it

    Every school is built
    by quiet heroes.

    1. To the proprietor

who built a school from one rented classroom, and still knows every child’s name.

    2. To the teacher

who marks by lamplight, and still writes a kind remark.

    3. To the parent

who pays in instalments, and never misses one.

    4. To the child

who was told they weren’t a science student, and became one.

The problem we refuse to accept

In 2025, 37% of WASSCE school candidates did not get five credits including English and Mathematics.

Most of them were not lazy. Nobody could show them which topics were costing them marks. That is a gap we can close.

Source: Nairametrics, WAEC revises 2025 WASSCE results (62.96% passed five subjects including English and Mathematics).

    The tools

    Four tools. One promise.

Each person in a school carries a different weight. Lux gives each of them exactly what they need, and nothing they don’t.

    For proprietors

    Calm mornings, clear money.

Every naira owed and collected, and the four decisions that need you today. Families are reminded privately, and hardship is handled with dignity.

    For teachers

    Evenings given back.

Lesson notes drafted from the scheme of work. Markbooks that fill themselves. Results ready on time, checked before they go.

    For parents

    A window into the week.

What your child learnt, what’s going well, and one thing to try at home. Pay school fees your way, with a receipt for everything.

    For students

A tutor who believes in you.

Short steps, hints before answers, and practice that feels like play. Made for the phone in your pocket, even when the data runs out.

    Victoria runs through all four.

The intelligence inside Lux. She drafts, reminds and explains, but she never takes a decision away from a person, and she never hands a child an answer they could have found.

    What we will never do

    Some lines don’t move.

We will never shame a child for a bill.A family’s balance is shown only to that family and the school office. Never to teachers, never to classmates.

We will never lock a child out of learning.Class, meals, medical care and the child’s own lessons stay open, whatever happens with fees.

We will never give the answer instead of the understanding.Victoria hints first, so the knowledge belongs to the child on exam day.

We will never replace a teacher.Teachers decide what is taught. Lux gives them back the time to teach it.

    The plan

    From one school’s morning
    to a continent of learners.

    1. Part one

      Free the school’s mornings.

Fees that are clear and fair, reminders that are private, and decisions that arrive before the first bell.

      Live in our first schools
    2. Part two

Give every teacher their evenings back.

Lesson notes, markbooks and results that take minutes, not weekends.

      Live in our first schools
    3. Part three

Put a patient tutor in every child’s pocket.

Victoria, short steps, offline lessons and exam practice, on the phones families already own.

      Live, and growing every term
    4. Part four

Learning that adapts to every mind.

Dedicated support for children with ADHD, dyslexia and visual impairment.

      Next
    5. Part five

      A continent of free learners.

Every school in Africa, whatever its size, wherever its children live.

    Questions

    What schools ask us first.

How hard is it to move our records into Lux?

Send us the spreadsheets you already keep for students, staff and classes. We check them, clean them and load them, and you review everything before anyone is invited.

    Does Victoria replace teachers?

Never. Teachers decide what is taught and can override anything Victoria suggests. She takes the paperwork so they can take the class.

Will it work on cheap phones and poor networks?

Yes. Lux is built for low-end Android phones. Lessons download once and keep working offline, and progress sends itself when the network returns.

    How is our data protected?

Every account sees only what it should: parents their own children, teachers their classes, the office the school’s records. Data is encrypted in transit, backed up, and handled in line with Nigeria’s data protection law.

    What does it cost?

Plans are shaped around the size of your school, and every plan includes onboarding and staff training. Book a conversation and we’ll build one with you.

    Knowledge brings freedom.

Every great school begins with one decision. If yours is ready, we’d be honoured to walk the path with you.
